Biography
Marie Bauer Larkin was a Christian Science practitioner and teacher who was active in the movement in the early and mid-twentieth century. She was known for her deep understanding of the metaphysical basis of Christian Science and her ability to communicate that understanding clearly to students.
Larkin contributed articles to The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel, and her writings reflect a thorough grounding in the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy. She was particularly interested in the relationship between Christian Science and the Bible.
She taught classes in Christian Science for many years and was known as a careful and thorough teacher who helped her students develop a solid foundation in the original teachings of the movement.
